What's Been Going On

A Greeting Card

What's been going on lately? Well, here it is. I'm still confined to the wheelchair for four more weeks (not the news I was hoping for).

Sue was gone on business all last week but is home all this week. She seems to be averaging 2 to 3 days a week in Minnesota. This should cease by the end of the year once everything is decided and in place.
Another Card Front

As for me, I've been working on making things for the craft show I'm going to December 2nd. It' be my first time trying to sell my photos at something like this. I don't know what to expect but thought I'd give it a try. I'm taking a variety of prints some unmatted, some matted and some framed.

I've also printed some cards with different images I took (post, note and greeting cards). I think they will do well because they're inexpensive but then so are my photos. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
Bird Note Card

As you can see I'm still shooting birds and local North Georgia barns and such. I'm working on a series of covered bridges in Georgia too. I'm trying to get them during the different seasons so I've got a long way to go on that one.

The remainder of my time is spent seeing doctors, getting over the flu, going to dialysis (now 4 days a week) and most of all loving Sue & Miss Kitty.

Forsyth Co. Barn

Just a great barn. I love the Fall-colored vine wrapped around the tree (you can see it better in the larger version). This place looks so peaceful to me.

Regards to all,
Mark

Mark, I love your cards! They are so festive and I'm sure they will do quite well at the show. I'm envious you are so organized in this effort and can't wait to see what you have.

I'm sorry you are still not up to par, but this too shall pass. After all, you have Sue and Miss Kitty and a host of friends on your side...smile.

Best wishes as you rev up your artful production for the show. It's exciting when that old creative streak is raging. I like each and every one of the photos. The bird looks so alert, the barn seems so quiet and the ornaments are sprightly and sparkly.

I wish I could take as good bird photos as you do!! I have a blog now, too!!! Soon I will post my birds! But your photos are so much better, you must have a great camera with a good zoom.
Good luck with your photography. You are good!
