Final Blog

To all that have been reading the blog and providing support and comfort to Mark through these times, Mark passed away Sunday morning. I'm comforted by the fact that he is more comfortable now and in a better place.

My heartaches for you and the family :o( I am so sorry Mark lost his battle but to myself and so many others he will always be a winner. Sue, the words he used when speaking about you made me feel you were soulmates and I know just how hard it can be to lose that specialness.

I will keep you all in my thoughts xxx

Mark, thank you for sharing all the ups and the downs with us over recent months. It has been a real pleasure getting to know you and I will never forget your wonderful spirit and beautiful photography. Rest easy my friend...

With Love,
Natalya

Dear Sue,
thank you so much for letting us know.
My deepest condolences to you. The way Mark wrote about you, you have been the best wife somebody could ever be. I will pray for you in this time of loss.

"For the Lamb who stands in front of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to the springs of life giving water. And God will wipe away all their tears." Revelation 7:17

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death". Rev. 21:4

with much love.

It's been a long while since I dropped by and so it was a sad surprise to learn via Pat at Guelphdialyphoto that Mark had passed away. He had such a valiant spirit, only occasionally flagging in his desire to continue living. I appreciated so much learning from him what his experiences were with being ill, having a loving, caregiving wife, doing photography even though his eyesight failed, waiting for transplant.

My best wishes come to you now and always, Sue.

My deepest condolences to you. I am shocked by these sad news. I do remember he was waiting for that transplant. I thought then, when I visited the site for the first time that he was a very courageous man. I wouldn't be able to even write in that situation. He seemed so brave. It is a great loss indeed.

Dearest Sue
I read Mark's blog very regularly and like other commentaters here was cheered by his positive attitude and his utter and completly adoring references to you and your relationship. I cannot even begin to imagine how you are feeling but I send these indequate words to you heartfelt that you remain ok and the fabulous times, in time, become brighter than the devestating ones.

Sue, I am so very sorry. I have thought of you and Mark so often over the past couple years. I hadn't been around here since 2007; I moved and didn't blog any more and didn't keep up as I'd have liked to with everyone I "talked" with online. Mark was in my prayers and of those of a prayer group I told about his medical situation and I often had wondered how he and you were doing. I couldn't find his blog (different computer), but finally did some searching this evening with what I could remember. And now I see he passed early last year. Please know he always spoke so fondly of you and he was so well-liked and respected by us here. I'm so very, very sad to hear of this. God bless you, Sue. With Love, Wendy (wendela)
